Hello everyone, my name is Atsushi Miyagi, Director of the clinic. Miyagi Internal Medicine Cardiology Family Clinic, opened our clinic in Urasoe City, Okinawa Prefecture, by good fortune, and in July 2022, we celebrated our 13th anniversary without fail. We would like to express our gratitude to all the people in the community who have supported us. As a family doctor in the city, we have been conscious of "a clinic that can respond to a wide range of patients' problems" and have prepared a system that can respond to all kinds of problems, including the medical environment, equipment, and staff. I believe that providing total support for the health of our patients will further enhance their daily happiness, and that every word of joy that I receive from them will lead to my own happiness. For this reason, we have also set up a system of "home medical care" for those who find it difficult to come to the hospital, even though it is only a very small amount, so that we can continue to provide care to the end. Electrocardiogram and blood pressure pulse wave test (CAVI, ABI)

Electrocardiograms provide information on whether the heart rhythm, blood flow, myocardium, etc. are normal. It is very useful in detecting cardiovascular diseases because it provides an understanding of the heart's overall function. Blood pressure pulse wave test measures the degree of hardness and blockage of blood vessels (arteries). It is an indicator of arterial stiffness/vascular function and is useful for early diagnosis of cerebrovascular diseases. CAVI is a test that examines the hardness of the arteries and determines the degree of arteriosclerosis throughout the body. ABI is a test to examine narrowing or blockage of arteries in the lower extremities.

Nasal endoscopy (Gastroscopy)

Direct examination using an endoscope is the most effective way to detect diseases of the stomach and esophagus. Our clinic uses nasal endoscopy, which makes the examination easier.

Echo (Ultrasound machine)

This is an excellent device that can detect abnormalities in the size and movement of the heart and blood flow with a high degree of accuracy.

Bone mineral content determination test (DIP method)

Measures the amount of calcium, magnesium, and other mineral components in the bones.
When mineral components are deficient, bones become weaker and more prone to fractures. Osteoporosis is especially common among middle-aged and older women, and it is important to know the condition of one's bones in order to effectively prevent the disease.

Holter EKG

This is a device worn on the body that can record the condition of the heart over a 24-hour period. It can detect signs of arrhythmia and angina pectoris with a high degree of accuracy.

Exercise stress EKG test using an ergometer

An electrocardiogram is performed by applying an exercise load with an ergometer. It can evaluate the presence of cardiac ischemia, induction and severity of arrhythmia, and exercise tolerance.
